Woe – A Poem

WOE
The prey has turned the chase,
The hunter has taken to her heels.

Behold a rabbit putting a pack of wolves to flight,
In a cold pursuit, that is.

Woe
The world screams aloud
Certainly, this is no race of impunity,
Behold a run for survival.

The fiery red-eyed rabbit,
The fleeing pack of wolves,
Are they not all in this run to keep their head?

Woe
The mighty has fallen,
The insignificant has stolen the show,
The egg has broken the mountain,
Light has overcome the veil.

Aye,
Resilience has entered the camp of the little,
Behold, a new era has risen in the jungle!!
Woe I say, to they that choose not to see!
